Manchester City Rebut Kembali Juara Liga Inggris

Manchester, FDSInews – Manchester City akhirnya sukses menjadi kampiun liga Inggris setelah dalam pertandingan terakhir berhasil menaklukkan West Ham United 2-0. Hasil itu membuat The Citizens menyudahi musim dengan 86 poin dari 38 pertandingan, unggul dua angka dari Liverpool yang menyudahi musim di posisi dua.

Ini merupakan trophy kedua The Citizens di era Premiership setelah mereka berhasil menjadi juara pada musim kompetisi 2011-2012. Keberhasilan Manchester City ini juga menegaskan hegemoni kota Manchester atas gelar Premier League, karena dalam 6 musim terakhir gelar juara liga tidak pernah lepas dari klub-klub di kota tersebut. Manchester United menyumbangkan 4 trophy juara, sedangkan sisanya direbut oleh Manchester City.

Semenjak diakuisisi oleh Sheikh Mansour, City berambisi untuk menjadi klub besar. Sebagai jalan untuk mencapainya, dia menggelontorkan dana besar demi menggaet pemain-pemain top. Gelontoran dana yang sangat besar dari milyuner Arab ini rupanya tak sia-sia. Piala demi piala kini mulai mengisi ruang ganti di Etihad Stadium. Total sudah 5 piala yang direngkuh City era Sheikh Mansour, yakni 1 piala FA, satu piala Liga, 2 gelar Premier League, serta 1 gelar Community Shield. Sayangnya, kesuksesan City di liga lokal belum berimbas ke ajang yang lebih bergengsi, yakni di Liga Champions maupun Liga Eropa. Prestasi terbaik City di Liga Champions adalah lolos ke babak 16 besar musim ini sebelum dihentikan oleh Barcelon.

   C’est n’importe quoi… Faut les avoir bien accrochées pour réclamer ça..Sinon, bien la photo (même si Dwight n’est pas le genre de type à jouer pendant les heures de bureau )
